De officieel verklaarde doelstelling van TTIP zou zijn om de trans-Atlantische handel en investeringen te stimuleren, die naar verwachting groei zullen stimuleren en banen zullen cre\u00ebren aan beide zijden van de Atlantische Oceaan.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Vermoedelijk was de overeenkomst bedoeld om handelsbelemmeringen binnen een breed scala van economische sectoren weg te nemen en zou deze uit drie hoofdonderdelen bestaan:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Markttoegang (inclusief tarieven)<\/li>\n<li>Regelgevingskwesties en niet-tarifaire belemmeringen (NTB&#8217;s)<\/li>\n<li>Regels (bijv. intellectuele eigendomsrechten, douane en handelsbevordering, handel en duurzame ontwikkeling).<br \/>\nAangezien de handelstarieven tussen partners in de praktijk al vrij laag zijn, zullen de onderhandelingen zich vooral richten op het verminderen van regelgevende belemmeringen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Echter<\/h3>\n<p>Velen zagen het als de zoveelste deal tussen de grote financi\u00eble en industri\u00eble machten:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Europa en Noord-Amerika onderhandelen momenteel over twee handelsovereenkomsten die de grootste machtsgreep van het bedrijfsleven in de geschiedenis zouden kunnen blijken te zijn: TTIP en CETA.&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/actions.sumofus.org\/a\/stop-ttip-eci\">sumofus<\/a>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>or<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;een poging om de regels van de wereldeconomie vast te stellen om multinationale ondernemingen te bevoordelen boven al het andere, waarbij democratie, nationale soevereiniteit en het algemeen belang met voeten worden getreden.&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/inthesetimes.com\/article\/tpp-free-trade-globalization-obama\">InTheseTimes<\/a>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Europese geheimhouding<\/h3>\n<p>Hoewel de betrokken entiteiten en autoriteiten (zoals altijd OWO) hun uiterste best deden om het <strong>allemaal geheim te houden<\/strong> (zoals altijd), was er in heel Europa een golf van manifestaties tegen TTIP. Een scenario dat identiek is aan dat van de <a href=\"https:\/\/agenda2029.is\/nl\/het-wuhan-griep-narratief\/\">Covid-&#8220;pandemie&#8221;<\/a> van de afgelopen jaren.<\/p>\n\r\n<div
