Freedom is Truth and Justice. No more, no less.

In the end, FREEDOM is, no more and no less, than the final objective and outcome of True Justice. True Justice can only exist if the Full Truth is known. And Full Truth can only be know if Free Speech is allowed. That’s why Free Speech is so important and the first step towards true Human Rights and eventually that true, individual and collective, Human Freedom that all of Humanity has longed and searched for since its inception. It is also known as PEACE.

However, for that same reason Freedom of Speech is also the first right that is being undermined and/or suppressed by the kind of people who strive to reach or maintain power over others at any cost, including by not being fair (with all that this entails). This is the obvious reason why, over the whole of human history, we so often see people that speak out being silenced, jailed, disappeared or even tortured and killed.

One might believe, or hope, that this mainly used to happen way back in the (European) Dark Ages, but no, it is still an ongoing practice that, in fact, has grown dramatically in recent years. The only difference is that in the past it happened more in the open and in a more brutal way (public hanging or torturing) while now it happens in a more discrete, “sophisticated” and actually hypocrite way, which we learned from the english to consider “politically correct”.

This modern sophistication starts with dominating a certain collective narrative through controlled mass-media and defining any opposing, critical or alternative story as “fake news” or “conspiracy-theory”. As has clearly been shown since WW II, the masses can easily be convinced of the dominating narrative (now also known as “preferred reality”) just by repeating the same message over and over again. If that’s not enough it suffices to add a certain amount of threat or fear and possibly an easily identifiable “enemy”. At this stage, only the strong and more informed ones are still capable of understanding and seeing through the narrative. They are the ones that, if they speak out, are unavoidably are being silenced in one way or another.

Here is where people like Mahatma Ghandi or Nelson Mandela were jailed in a relatively recent past. The most well-known case of these times (in Europa!) has undoubtedly been Julian Assange, who now fortunately is free again. Another known example is the case of Reiner Fuellmich in Germany, who is still suffering jail. Lesser known cases are Arno van Kessel in the Netherlands and Gianni Alemanno in Itally. They all were put in jail for going against the preferred reality narrative of the ones in power.
